Try this for quick dragon scales. I usually buy these tangerines around X-Mas time, the mesh that covers the box is great for getting cool dragon-like scales even snake skin texture. They are very flexible and have different patterns depending on the grower (you can even spray them with a light adhesive). Try it out!
