HELLBOY'S The GOOD SAMARITAN
The Good Samaritan pistol from the movies
The pistol prop, costs around $300.00 (sold out)
MY "GOOD SAMARITAN" I started with a piece of two-tone packing foam (got it for free).
Drew out the gun shape freehanded using a ruler
Cut out the shape with a carpet-type knife.
Sliced and shaped the gun barrel, handle, and cut out a spot for the revolving part, also added a piece of plastic piping.
Used some thin styreen plastic sheeting and covered the foam (hot glued a piece at a time).
I extended the handle part with more foam. Added a piece of black PVC piping for the revolving part (later covered it with styreen plastic sheeting as well).
The unpainted finished gun, I used 1/4 inch Sintra Board and made the trigger, guard, hammer, and handle grips
Here it is Painted with black paint, and dry-brushed with silverish paint.
AIRBRUSHING THE HANDLE
FINISHED GOOD SAMARITAN (my version) Total Weight About 1 to 11/2 lbs
